BLOOD ORANGE CHILI MARGARITA
THE PORCH, THE RANCH AT LAGUNA BEACH
Enjoy alfresco dining in a canyon setting while you warm up by a fire pit and sip a Blood Orange Chili Margarita. The Porch, at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, offers a picturesque outdoor setting with live music, a seasonal menu and craft cocktails. This refreshing twist on a classic margarita offers a unique citrus punch and spicy kick. It is made with Milagro tequila, freshly squeezed blood orange juice, lime juice, blackberry and raspberry juice, and maple syrup, shaken and garnished with a blood orange slice, jalapeño slice, and Tajín rim. RJ Bear, director of food and beverage, says, “The blood orange puree with blackberries and raspberries is made from fresh, locally grown fruit and has a bit more acidity than regular orange juice to help balance the drink.” Ingredients are sourced from the resort’s own ½-acre organic garden, when available.
